KRISTIAN BUSH

Kristian Bush is one half of the multi-platinum selling country duo Sugarland and has been leaving his mark on music for more than two decades. He is a Grammy Award winning singer, songwriter, producer, playwright, podcaster, and instrumentalist who started his career with folk rock duo Billy Pilgrim. To date, Kristian has won six BMI Awards for his songwriting abilities, and in 2011 founded the music publishing company and songwriting collective Songs of the Architect. In 2017, he released his first musical Troubadour at the Alliance Theater. Currently, Kristian sits on the board of the Atlanta Chapter of the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences, is a frequent performer on the Grand Ole Opry, and has recently started a new rock band with Benji Shanks and Brandon Bush called Dark Water.

RITA WILSON

Rita Wilson is a multi-talented actress, producer, singer and songwriter. Rita first donned her producers cap for the record breaking box-office hit, My Big Fat Greek Wedding, followed by its sequel for which she co-wrote and performed the end title credits song Even More Mine. Rita’s love of ABBA’s music led her to secure the rights to the musical play, and produced the hit musical film MAMMA MIA! and its sequel, Mamma Mia: Here We Go Again.

Following her recently acclaimed third album, Bigger Picture, Rita Wilson’s fourth album, Halfway to Home stakes out new sonic territory – the place where Southern California rock meets Nashville country. Rita explains the significance of the title; “Everybody is a work in progress. I don’t feel that we’re ever at the place we want to be. Just when you think you’ve got it made, something throws you for a loop. I know I’m not perfect, but I just keep trying—I’m out there, flawed, but trying my best. So I wanted to write about connecting to those parts of you that aren’t finished, they’re just ‘halfway to home.’”

Rita has performed live extensively. In addition to her own headlining shows and playing large country music festivals such as Stagecoach, Lake Shake and Seven Peaks, she made her debut at the historic Grand Ole Opry, toured this past summer with Kristian Bush from the Grammy Award-winning band Sugarland and performed with the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame band CHICAGO.

Rita has been acting since she was fourteen years old with roles, in Sleepless in Seattle, It’s Complicated, Runaway Bride, HBO’s Girls, The Good Wife, Curb Your Enthusiasm and more.
